Keep Horn Lake Beautiful is a committee formed to involve our city and area residents in keeping our city beautiful.
On Tuesday, January 15th, 2008, Mayor Nat Baker announced the city's resolution to become a 'Green City'. He pointed out that our city has no belching smokestacks obscuring our view and polluting our air.
Our city has 14 public parks, ball fields, soccer fields, a walking trail and the proud distinction of being a Tree City U.S.A.
Although we have many attributes, they don't take care of themselves. Our city, local businesses and concerned citizens all need to be involved in the maintenance and preservation of our city.
Keep Horn Lake Beautiful is all about that maintenance and preservation. We seek new avenues of public awareness and provide opportunities for everyone to be involved.
If we all do our part, we all reap the benefits.
